The irrigation network of the extended area of Koroneia Lake covers an area of about 14,000.00 hectares. It is divided into six closed sub-grids. Water supply comes from a network of 80 deep wells, with an average depth of drilling over 85.00m.
In order to cover water demand on high seasons, six regulative tanks per grid are constructed. Tanks’ capacity varies from 1,500.00 to 5,600.00m3.
