The bridge is located near the borders with Albania and carries a motorway over a valley. The SoW includes the design of two identical bridges constructed a few cm apart. Each bridge has a total length of 278.20m and consists of 7 simply supported spans (39.80m each). The deck comprises 6 precast-prestressed beams that are supported on elastomeric bearing pads. Due to the significant height of the deck, intermediate piers are formed as box-type sections and are founded on rigid pile caps, that are carried by large diameter pile groups.
